Committed to giving its customers an in store brand experience like no other, you will be responsible for taking the seasonal campaigns and the brand DNA from the Creative Director and communicating that message to the outside world through creative experiential initiatives including visual merchandising, at our own corporately owned stores as well as at key wholesale doors globally. If you are someone who has a personality that sits well with the brand philosophy and operational structure, and whose aesthetic echoes the overall character of the Moose brand.

Some of what you’ll do:

  • Lead the translation of the brand into physical store initiatives, balancing of creating commercial and functional retail space
  • Lead the translation and implementation of marketing campaigns and concepts into the store environment
  • Work with the marketing to develop and roll out commercial, innovative and on brand visual merchandising that showcases the brand
  • Work with suppliers and team to deliver visual merchandising and experiential initiatives efficiently and cost effectively
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive training program that teaches sales associates on how to leverage visual merchandising schemes and how to execute them
  • Partner with store construction team making recommendations on store layout and visual displays.

Some of what you’ll need:

  • At least 3 years’ experience as a visual merchandiser in any artistic field
  • A Creative personality with good commercial skills
  • A passion for multiple disciplines in the arts (visual, performance, music…)
  • A passion for story telling

As the Head of Global Retail, you will be responsible for overseeing the growth, management and operations of Moose Knuckles retail expansion, stores and eCommerce. The ideal candidate will have a well-documented record of success as an accomplished executive in the premium fashion industry. You will manage the existing retail business, help scout new locations, oversee store openings and drive the direct to consumer strategies. You will report directly to the President and CEO. This position is located in Montreal.

Some of what you’ll do:

Strategy
- Assist shaping the short-term and long-term objectives for the retail portfolio
- Create initiatives that captures the global growth potential
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop events, initiatives and public relations moments for the retail portfolio

Partnership
- Provide cross-functional leadership and works closely with Montreal and New York based HQ team members to refine and execute retail strategy and growth
- Oversees integration of retail stores, ecommerce and distribution processes to ensure efficiencies and optimal results are achieved

Finance & Budgeting
- Accountable for achieving financial results and other performance objectives
- Manage build out costs in-line with proforma and profitability targets, highlighting issues or concerns in a timely manner
- Monitor and maintain annual/quarterly/monthly plans, sales, operating and financial

Retail Development
- Create and implement customer service strategies, plans and materials to set the Moose Knuckles standard for all store staff
- Influences senior leaders regarding product, inventory and operations by providing insights about local competition, market trends and analysis
- Develop and manage the retail calendar for all activities, including; marketing, events, product flow, openings, etc.

eCommerce
- Developing eCommerce strategies locally and internationally
- Systems and platform management capability to determine best in class performance
- Lead eCommerce team and determine key metrics to drive revenue

Team Leadership
- Develop a strong organizational structure to meet functional and financial objectives
- Help define culture and operating practices for Moose Knuckles retail
- Develops succession plans for all key roles in and across the store portfolio

Some of what you’ll need:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a retail director or in retail operations
  • eCommerce accountability with systems, customer acquisition, operations, merchandising & social/digital expertise

Moose Knuckles is looking for an EDI / Operation Coordinator to join its team!
In this role, you will be a pinnacle addition to the growing operations team. Working with the Amazon account web portal, and Momentis you will manage orders and process weekly replenishment.

Some of what you’ll do:

  • Confirm shipments, verify prices and inventory
  • Communicate with credit department to release the orders
  • Communicate changes with the sales reps in regards to allocation and shipping log report
  • Communicate regularly with 3rd party Warehouse
  • Send all 856’s transmissions
  • Dispute Amazon Chargebacks
  • Preparing Price Tickets template for EDI customers that requires special ticketing
  • Process EDI Logistic transmissions to our 3rd Party Warehouse in the US for
  • EDI Transactions for various sets
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned and a back up to EDI Colleague
  • Process new orders, repeats, returns and damages (US customers)
  • Ensure all bulk orders get run down by released orders
  • Communicate any issue that will affect customer delivery with Sales and Production and work together to resolve it.

Moose Knuckles is looking to a Fit Tech to join it’s ever growing team!

As the Fit Tech you will be responsible for managing, coordinating, maintaining, and controlling the fit process. Monitoring department policies and procedures and recommending improvements. You will also ensure accurate recording and reporting of transactions. As well as overseeing sewing instructions, all fits and follow up samples.

Some of what you’ll do:

  • Assist in managing, developing and implementing short- and long-term goals, objectives and strategies for the fit & spec department.
  • Spec and assign pattern blocks for all new styles and submit to factories to ensure production gets costings
  • Make sure samples are organized and schedule samples rotation and organization. Responsible for keeping and organizing archive and sealed samples.
  • Manage and ensure that all sewing instructions, specs and grading is put in the tech packs at beginning of each season. Work closely with development team to ensure construction is optimal.
  • Advise production/design of major changes in the Fit & Spec.
  • Coordinate and prioritize work load.
  • Ensure that all company procedures are followed by all factories.
  • Review all new or revised vendor requirements related to fits and ensure they are in the system and effectively communicated to suppliers

Some of what you’ll need:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in fits
  • Experience in supervising a team and distributing workload
  • Experience in outerwear, luxury experience an asset
  • Understanding of outerwear construction
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite and Excel

Moose Knuckles is adding a Quality Control Inspector to the team!

Working directly with domestic vendors to ensure correct hangers and price tickets are used and garments are ticketed correctly. Follow up with vendors and production team for all QA issues. Making sure the goods sent to our customers are shipped in accordance with our customer requirements.

Some of what you'll do:

  • Achieve Quality control objectives by monitoring day-to-day activities.
  • Do inline and final inspections for workmanship, specs and packing.
  • Do a warehouse inspection
  • Submit inspection reports to the head office.
  • Communicate the inspection results with the factories
  • Follow up on repairs and respect deadlines.
  • Make sure all orders are packed and ticketed to comply with customer requirements,
  • Complete all other duties as required to support the mission of the QA and fit departments

Some of what you need:

  • Excellent written and communication skills in English
  • Experience working in QC, outerwear experience an asset
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to work well with others in a fast paced, dynamic environment

  • Submit inspection reports to the head office
  • Communicate the inspection results with the factories
  • Follow up on repairs and respect deadlines
  • Make sure all orders are packed and ticketed to comply with customer requirements
  • Complete all other duties as required to support the mission of the QC and fit departments

As a member of the Finance and administration team you will ensure accurate processing and recording of company’s payroll for offices in Italy, New York and Montreal, as well as retail stores across Canada.

This position will impact a rapidly growing organization and requires someone who is entrepreneurial minded and can hit the ground running.

SOME OF WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Manage payroll for employees in Canada, USA and Europe including retail and warehouse.
  • Coordinate CSST, workman’s comp and related issues
  • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
  • Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits
  • Update and reconcile monthly bank statements from ADP
  • Working on special projects as needed

Moose Knuckles is looking to add a temporary Operations and Administration Assistant to our Milan office.!

We are looking for a dynamic and proactive person to join our General Services & Administration team as a temporary, 6 month contract with the possibility to become a permanent member of the tribe.

We are looking for someone with excellent organizational and communication skills who will be responsible for administrative support in the areas of Operations, HR, Administration and Facility management. You will provides administrative support to company operations, policies, and procedures, dealing with the following main tasks: .

SOME OF WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Support in organizing meetings and events; assist the Operations Manager and General Manager on finance, HR, administrative matters; provide analysis and reports to superiors on all relevant matters
  • Coordinate Logistics and Maintenance providers; support to IT helpdesk activities and general procurement activities
  • Prepare PO’s, keeping a regular update of the expense report for showroom & operations; track progress on payment,
  • Help for Time off and Absences issues related with Italian office
  • Post jobs, review resumes, contact candidates and headhunters, fix appointments and interviews, collect and provide documentation to HR for payroll purposes.
  • Assist the GM with his calendar and schedule; organize and support meetings, teleconferences, off sites; help with complex travel bookings and expense process; other project management support as requested.

  • Previous experience as administrative assistant, office manager or equivalent positions in international environment;
