This privacy policy governs the manner in which Modes Moose Inc. (“Moose Knuckles”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from users ("User", “you” or “your”) of websites operated by Moose Knuckles, including www.mooseknucklescanada.com (collectively, our “Site"). This policy applies to your use of our Site and all products and services offered by or purchased from Moose Knuckles.

We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit the Site, register on the Site, place an order for our products or services, subscribe to our newsletter, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate for the purposes of collected information (described below), name, email address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information. Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personal identification information, but such refusal may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities.

We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Non-personal identification information may include the User’s browser name, the type of computer and technical information about Users’ means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized, and other similar information.

We and our partners, including Shopify, use cookies and similar technologies to:
• Personalize your experience and tailor content.
• Support analytics and performance optimization.
• Deliver marketing and retargeting campaigns.
• Track abandoned carts and send cart reminders (including via SMS, if opted-in).

Moose Knuckles may collect and use Users’ personal information for the following purposes:
• To improve customer service: Information you provide helps us respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently. We may use the User’s email address to send information and updates pertaining to their order. It may also be used to respond to their inquiries, questions, and/or other requests.
• To improve user experience: We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our Users as a group use the services and resources provided on our Site.
• To process orders: We may use the information Users provide about themselves when placing an order only to provide service to that order (including payment processing, fulfilment, tracking and delivery). We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide those services.
• To inform about a promotion, contest, survey or other Site feature: We may send Users information they agreed to receive about topics we think will be of interest to them. If User decides to opt-in to our mailing list, they will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time the User would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email or User may contact us via our Site.
• To Support Shopify Audiences advertising (see below).

We participate in Shopify Audiences, a service offered by Shopify Inc. to help deliver relevant advertisements on digital platforms such as Meta and Google.

What Data Is Collected by Shopify:
Shopify collects the following categories of information to operate the platform, fulfill services, and support Shopify Audiences:
• Customer-provided data: name, email address, phone number, shipping/billing addresses, and payment details (credit card data is tokenized and encrypted).
• Transactional data: purchase history, order details, refunds, returns, and loyalty program activity.
• Device & browsing data: IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, cookies, and on-site navigation.
• Location data: city, state/province, and country (not precise GPS unless explicitly provided).
• Marketing interaction data: browsing activity, session duration, product views, cart activity, and referral sources.

How Data Is Protected:
We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site.
Sensitive and private data exchanges between our Site and Users occurs over a SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures. Our Site is also in compliance with PCI vulnerability standards in order to create a secure environment for Users.

Data Encryption & Pseudonymization
• Encrypted / pseudonymized: customer identifiers (e.g., email, phone number) are hashed before being transmitted for Shopify Audiences or matched with ad platforms.
• Encrypted in transit and at rest: payment data and sensitive identifiers.
• Raw (minimally processed): order details, browsing data, and on-site session activity, which remain accessible within Shopify’s admin until deletion or anonymization occurs.

How Data Is Used:
• Shopify builds custom and lookalike audience segments across participating merchants.
• Raw personal information is never shared directly with ad platforms; only pseudonymized segments are.
• These processes allow Moose Knuckles to deliver more relevant ads and minimize irrelevant promotions.
Your Choices & Opt-Out:
You may opt out of Shopify Audiences and certain targeted advertising practices at any time by visiting the Shopify Privacy Controls page.

We use automated decision-making and profiling technologies to:
• Personalize recommendations.
• Optimize campaign targeting.
• Identify customer segments based on past behavior.

These processes do not create legal or significant effects for individuals. You may request manual review or opt out of profiling (see “Your Rights”).

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy:
• Transactional records: up to 7 years (financial and regulatory obligations).
• Marketing & analytics data: up to 3 years unless consent is withdrawn earlier.
• Inactive accounts: anonymized or deleted after 7 years.

Shopify anonymizes customer data after defined retention periods. You may request earlier deletion via our Data Opt-Out Form or by contacting customerservice@mooseknuckles.com.

We do not sell, trade, or rent Users’ personal identification information to third parties. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and Users with our business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined above. We may use third party service providers to help us operate our business and our Site or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters or surveys. We may share your information with these third parties for those limited purposes provided that you have given us your permission. We may share data with trusted service providers who assist in operations (e.g., Shopify, payment processors, newsletter systems) under strict confidentiality agreements.

Please be advised that the practices described in this privacy policy apply only to information we gather on our Site. Our Site may contain links to third-party websites that are not owned or controlled by us. We assume no responsibility for the content, products, services, policies, or practices of any third-party website(s). By visiting those sites, you may be subject to the privacy policies and/or terms and conditions of use that may apply to such third-party website(s) and you do so of our own volition and at your own risk.

Moose Knuckles has the discretion to update this privacy policy at any time. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. We encourage Users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications.
